Meghan and the Queen’s royal visit to Chester

Less than a month following the royal wedding Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Her Majesty the Queen embarked on their very first official trip together, just the two of them, carrying out a full day of engagements in Chester, England. Having traveled overnight aboard the royal train, Meghan and the Queen arrived at Runcorn Station in the City of Chester just before 11AM. They officially opened the Storyhouse theatre and the Mersey Gateway Bridge.

Meghan wore a light coloured bespoke dress by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy (wedding dress designer and now possibly go-to royal tailor for our new Duchess) with a contrasting Givenchy Logo Buckle Belt and Givenchy Triple Leather Crossbody Bag which doubles as a clutch. Meghan’s shoes are the Sarah Flint Perfect Pumps and the new pearl earrings she is wearing are said to be a gift from the Queen herself.

Love this piece from day about how Meghan told a well-wisher in the crowd that Harry is the ‘best husband ever.’
